Mission
W.O.O. T’s mission is to help minority mothers of children with autism, access and navigate the resources they need to ensure success in life and education for their families. We accomplish this by providing education to mothers/caregivers, opportunity to screening, accessibility to therapy, other aides and nutrition education/resources.
Vision
Our vision is to host summits, participate in autism awareness events, offer self-care events, and provide judgment -free support and resources that support mothers.:
· Increase school readiness for children with autism,
· Increase awareness of support services,
· Increase self-care for minority mothers/caregivers of children with autism,
· Decrease burnout of minority mothers/caregivers of children with autism, and
· Ensure minority mothers/caregivers and their children with autism have the tools to live thriving lives that add to their communities.
